NFLPA Professional Athletes Disability
As covered by the Bert Bell/Pete Rozelle NFL Player Retirement Plan you may be entitled to receive Line of Duty, Neurocognitive disability, or Total & Permanent Disability benefits. Compensation is awarded for Permanent Disabilities caused by work related injuries, either specific injuries and/or cumulative injuries. The examining doctors determine the level of permanent disability. The benefits will vary depending on the level of permanent disability and the date of injury.
